Behavior Interventions That Work
I started teaching at Deridder Junior High School in 2015. Before teaching there, I taught at Deridder High school for two years prior. I taught various math subjects: Algebra I, Geometry, Math Essentials, Advance Math (Act Prep), Pre-Algebra, 7th grade Math, and 8th grade Math. I am currently teaching Pre-Algebra, Math 7 and Math 8.
I started teaching in November of 2008. I taught in St Landry parish for four years and Acadia Parish for one year. Before becoming a certified teacher, I worked in St Landry Parish at the Opelousas Head Start and Lawtell Head Start from 2002 to 2008. During my time at these facilities, I was a head start teacher. I enjoyed working with the little ones, and they enjoyed learning from me. I decided to go back to school to teach high school and middle school because I wanted to work with the higher age group.
I am married to a wonderful man since 2014. We do not have children but we do have a fur child. Her name is Jazzy.
I love to shop and dress up. My favorite part of dressing up is wearing make-up and wearing fancy clothes. I like to be very creative with my looks. I also like to read, watch older TV series, sew (when I can), and sit outside on my patio.
